A wonderful book arrived in the book room today, a small hardcover with just the right amount of whimsy for bibliophiles.
Editor Thessaly La Force and artist Jane Mount asked more than 100 cultural figures--writers, musicians, foodies and the like--to choose a sampling of books that made them who they are, that somehow speak to their ambitions and dreams.
The result is
My Ideal Bookshelf, to be released in Nov. by Little, Brown and Co.
