The Incongruous City

Mrs L sees and hears it on the streets of Manhattan

Friday, August 14th

I saw a white stretch limo pull up to the Barneys Warehouse Sale on W. 17th Street. Whatever they saved on that Prada jacket was spent on the gas for the stretch. Don’t you think?

Hey,
Did you go to the Barneys sale? What did you get?
I like your new blog. How do you find the time to do all you do? You are one amazing lady.

Even worse than a stretch limo would be a Hummer stretch limo! I was walking around the Village with a friend one evening last year, just going around the same block for about a half hour, and we kept passing the same Hummer stretch limo idling at the curb. God knows how long that engine kept chugging away, uselessly.

And people get in my face when I smoke on the street!

I love you new site & blog. I’m all ears for anything you have to say…just get on that soap box and let it rip! You are so versatile…so articulate…you never stop evolving! Rosanne for President…heck, Rosanne for Queen!

I really don’t know what Prada means. I’ve heard of it before but I guess I live to far back in the coutry! We love you Rosanne! Chris J.

Hi Mom,

Nice blog. It’s been done, but don’t let that get you down.

Do you see this?

Can we go back to the Barneys sale?

Yeah, Rosanne for Queen. I like it

Love you
